GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas (KXII) - Amanda Grady, the daughter of Jimmy Grady, was arrested Thursday and is facing the same animal cruelty charges as her father in a case involving 39 starving horses rescued from a property along U.S. 82 near Sherman.

Jimmy Grady of Sherman was arrested in June on five counts of animal cruelty to livestock after the horses were rescued from the property."Throughout the investigation of the animal cruelty case dealing with livestock out of U.S. 82, Ms. Grady was found to be also a suspect in this," said Capt. Mark Kosemund of the Grayson County Sheriff's Office."As far as what I understand, neither one of them were actually living at the property. They were just having their horses there on this property," Kosemund said.

The Sheriff's Office says there are no other suspects in the case.
