BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - A van that once served as a Brazos Valley veteran's home is now on its way to helping veterans in Brazos County.

The van is being turned into thousands of dollars in relief for other veterans in the county.

BDS Towing and Recovery LP in Bryan donated the vehicle to VFW Post 4692 in Bryan after the veteran - who had been living out of the van - died earlier this year following a medical emergency.
