The spooky mist cleared just in time for the third annual "Howl-O-Ween Pup Pawrade & Costume Contest" hosted by Ken and Christi Satterlee, owners of Grand Central at Milam.
The event was sponsored by Mindy Miller, owner of Waggers & Swaggers, with all proceeds going to support Hill Country Animal Rescue (HCAR) in Fredericksburg.
Ten canine contestants and their humans competed for "Waggin Rights" and Woofawesome prize packages while families from across the Hill Country enjoyed the passing parade.
