VAN ZANDT COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - The Van Zandt County district attorney submitted her resignation to Governor Greg Abbott in October.

According to Van Zandt County District Attorney Tonda Curry, she submmited her letter of resignation to Abbott's office on Oct. 2.

Tonda CurryCurry said the reason for her resignation was because the majority of her staff has left, leaving her with only one lawyer and legal assistant.
