A 40-year-old Florida man was charged after allegedly robbing banks while wearing an "old man" mask disguise.
David Sartin Jr., a previously convicted bank robber, is accused of robbing two separate banks in August and September of this year, in each case donning an "old man" mask while demanding money from the teller, according to an Oct. 16 press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office of the Middle District of Florida.
According to the Oct. 14 criminal complaint and the U.S. Attorney's Office, during the investigation, law enforcement searched a storage unit belonging to Sartin Jr., which turned up a fake gun, along with a variety of items similar to those seen on the suspect in the bank robberies.
