NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - SFA is the site of the first DEI complaint being investigated by a newly created state watchdog office.

According to the Texas Tribune, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board's Office of the Ombudsman has received 69 complaints regarding diversity, equity and inclusion at Texas universities, with all but one being closed without investigation.

The case against SFA is the only case being investigated.
