NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - The Nacogdoches Medical Center has expanded its facilities to increase health care access for residents across the area.
The new facility, Nacogdoches Medical Center South Campus, celebrated its official launch as leaders from the district and the new hospital spoke about what patients can expect at the new campus."Our goal from the beginning is very clear," Nacogdoches Medical Center CEO Jeff Patterson said.
"We want to rebuild from the ground up. We want to stabilize operations, and we want to create a foundation strong enough to support health care in Nacogdoches for generations to come."The new campus includes an emergency room, the Cecil Beaumont Inpatient Rehabilitation Center and the support facilities needed to diagnose and supplement primary medical care at the campus.
