A judge has approved an unopposed motion to dismiss charges against a man accused of killing two women in Clovis, wounding a toddler with them, and kidnapping an infant in 2024.
An order to dismiss the indictment following the civil commitment of Alek Isaiah Collins was filed October 30. The motion was unopposed.
This comes after Collins was committed to the custody of the Attorney General for treatment in June.
