BHPH Finder launches the first public dataset on in-house financing car lots across 194 US cities, with ratings, hours and advertised terms for every dealer.

HOUSTON - September 09, 2026 - BHPH Finder, a new independent directory of Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) car dealerships, today published its first industry report drawn from 4,481 verified dealer listings in 194 cities across all 50 states.

The findings challenge a common assumption about in-house financing: of 2,198 dealer websites analysed, only 27, or 1. 2 percent, state that they report customer payments to a credit bureau, even though building credit is one of the main reasons buyers choose these lots.
