Tivy High School's cross-country teams swept titles at the Pete Belman Classic in Uvalde, with runner Ivery Evans winning the varsity girls division.

Traveling south for their latest competition agreed with Tivy cross-country teams when both the girls and boys won their respective divisions in the Pete Belman Classic run at Uvalde's City Youth Sports Field Complex.
Lady Antlers Ivery Evans claimed her second straight gold medal by beating out 64 other racers in the varsity girls run, where she took 12:02 to go 2 miles.
"Ivery ran by herself the entire last mile," said coach Dee Heiner.
