After nearly three months acting as an interim department head, a lifelong Guadalupe County resident officially received the nod to run the office as he sees fit.

Guadalupe County Commissioners Court at a special meeting Monday announced the appointment of then-interim Road Administrator Mike Brooks to the position of administrator.
