Residents at a 55+ apartment complex in Dickinson report feeling safer after management addressed security concerns including non-functioning gates and elevator issues that residents had raised with local news.

DICKINSON, Texas - Residents at a 55+ community in Dickinson say they feel safer after several concerns they raised with 2 Helps You were addressed.

Traci Pliske and a group of residents at Belle at Bay Colony had contacted 2 Helps You about issues they were experiencing at the community, including gates that had not been working since last fall.

One of the community's elevators was also out of service.
