HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A deputy was hurt, and a possible suspect fled in a patrol car after a shooting in east Harris County, according to the sheriff's office.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office shared that the shooting happened in the 1100 block of Bayou Street on Wednesday night.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said a possible suspect fled in a patrol car, but did not provide details on the deputy's condition.
