TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Tyler man was sentenced to 40 years in prison for forcing a 14-year-old girl to touch him inappropriately.

A Smith County jury sentenced Michael Wayne Nobles, 51, after finding him guilty of indecency with a child by sexual contact during a two-day trial in the 475th Judicial District Court.

On Wednesday, Smith County prosecutors presented evidence that Nobles forced the girl to touch his penis in December 2022 and the jury returned the guilty verdict later the same day.
