The Constable Percy Medina Memorial Scholarship Fund will host its 6th Annual Auction & Dance on Oct. 17 at St. Andrew Catholic Church Hall in Pleasanton, with country artist Rodney Hayden returning as the event's entertainment.

Since its founding in 2021, the scholarship program has awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships to more than 200 Atascosa County students, helping local graduates pursue higher education.

Organizers are currently seeking event sponsors, and table sales are open.
