GATESVILLE, Texas (KWTX) - A man is facing multiple charges after leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase spanning two Central Texas counties early Saturday, a local sheriff said.

Deputies with the Coryell County Sheriff's Office initially responded to assist the Gatesville Police Department with an active fight and reports of possible gunfire.

According to the sheriff, officers stopped two suspect vehicles as they attempted to leave the scene.
