Following a 49-0 victory at Pacific University to kick off the 2026 football campaign last week, the Howard Payne Yellow Jackets opened the home portion of their slate with a 59-15 triumph over Clutch City Preparatory Saturday night at Gordon Wood Stadium.

The Yellow Jackets rode a balanced offensive attack that produced 566 total yards, including 273 rushing and 293 passing.

Howard Payne opened the scoring with a first-quarter safety and controlled the game from there.
