(KGNS) - The Laredo Fire Department is responding to claims that its crews could not get water to fight a house fire that killed one person and destroyed three homes in the 300 block of Hidden Lane.

LFD said it received a call around 3 p.m. for a house fire.

When crews arrived, one home was fully engulfed and flames were spreading to two neighboring homes.
