Music on Main features Brazilian-style tunes The community will have an opportunity to feel the rhythm of Brazilian grooves at Music on Main Oct. 15 at Heritage Square Park.

Music on Main is a free concert series 6:308:30 p.m. held the third Thursday of the month from September to November and from March until May in downtown Taylor at 400 N. Main St. This month, the series features Nossa Novas, led by vocalist Sonia McLaughlin.

The band blends bossa nova, samba, Tropiclia, jazz, rock and tropical rhythms into something that's uniquely their own, organizers said.
