Council, EDC approve incentives for Project Blue Hub HUTTO - A manufacturing plant associated with Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin may soon be heading for Hutto, joining a host of other Central Texas spaceflight companies.

If plans come to fruition, the deal could bring up to 2,000 jobs to the area, officials said.

The City Council and the Hutto Economic Development Corp. approved economic incentives Aug. 6 for Project Blue Hub, long speculated to be Blue Origin Enterprises LP, an aeronautics company founded by Bezos, the creator of Amazon.
