BREWSTER COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - The Brewster County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team served a felony arrest warrant Thursday morning on a ranch south of Marathon.

According to the Brewster County Sheriff's Office, Barret Whitworth, was charged with assault on a family member by impeding breath and interfering with an emergency request for help.

Whitworth was booked into the Brewster County Jail.
