Free heart screenings available Sunday for teen athletes in Missouri City

Free heart screenings for teen athletes ages 11-25 will be offered Sunday at Missouri City Recreation & Tennis Center by KPRC 2, the Cody Stephens Foundation, and Missouri City Fire & Rescue.

KPRC 2, the Cody Stephens Foundation and Missouri City Fire & Rescue are teaming up to provide free heart screenings for teen athletes this weekend.

The community heart screening is open to all athletes ages 11 to 25, regardless of their school, sport, or level of play.

The event will take place Sunday, Aug. 30, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the Missouri City Recreation & Tennis Center, located at 2701 Cypress Point Drive in Missouri City.
