The Hutto Hippos varsity football team picked up a 67-41 victory over the Converse Judson Rockets on Friday, Sept. 4.

The Hippos' offense exploded for its highest-scoring game since 2023, when Hutto defeated Liberty Hill 82-80. The scoring started on the first play of the game when senior athlete Jaiden Fields scooped up a fumble and returned it for a touchdown to give Hutto an early 7-0 lead.

Fields added two more touchdowns on receptions.
