HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Terminal C North at George Bush Intercontinental Airport has fully reopened, with all gates now operational following a fire that broke out inside the Ember restaurant earlier this week, according to airport officials.

Airport officials said Thursday that all passenger gates and concessions in Terminal C North have resumed normal operations after Tuesday's fire prompted the terminal to close.

The Houston Fire Department said the fire broke out around 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday inside Ember restaurant in Terminal C North.
