LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Lubbock Meals on Wheels (LMOW) is teaming up with Sonic Restaurants for its annual "Big Wheels Deliver Meals" event on Friday, August 28, 2026.

The unique initiative aims to raise public awareness and directly involve local celebrities and community leaders in the organization's mission.

During the event, local "Big Wheels"-including community leaders and area celebrities-volunteer their lunch hour to deliver meals along LMOW routes.
