In a social media post made Friday, Moran said he had a "very good policy-focused meeting with Texas AG Ken Paxton this week to discuss how we can effectively work in concert at both the state and federal level to deliver for Texans."Moran listed secure borders, safe communities, economic growth and increased liberty as priorities.

In an interview Friday for East Texas Politics on East Texas Now with Blake Holland, Moran said while he supports the Republican ticket in November, he is not offering Paxton his personal endorsement."Character still does matter. Absolutely. I don't roll back and I haven't rolled back any of my statements about that," Moran said.
