LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK)-- The Longview Fire Department's firefighting drone program received a major boost through a $50,000 donation from VeraBank recently.

VeraBank presented the check to the Longview Fire Foundation to support the department's drone response program on Friday.

The funding will help pay for a new state-of-the-art autonomous drone.
