For the first time, Bandera will be joining the National Association of Counties for Operation Green Light, an event honoring veteran appreciation from Nov. 4-11.

Mayor Pro Tem Deanna Mc-Cabe read the press release from Bandera Veteran Service Officer Michael Lauricella at Tuesday's city council meeting.

"They want Bandera to light up their homes and businesses with green lights," McCabe said.
