Midway High School breaks ground on $14.5M facility addition
Midway High School breaks ground on a $14.5 million facility addition including a new gym, training area, and locker rooms funded by an $83.5 million bond passed in November 2025.

WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Midway High School is adding a new gym, training area, locker room and additional spaces as part of a construction project budgeted at $19 million but estimated to come in at $14. 5 million.
The project is funded through an $83. 5 million bond that passed in November 2025.
School officials said the addition is needed to address limited space for student programs.
