ANNA, Texas (KXII) - A lightning bolt tore through the roof of the Auldridge family's home last week, destroying nearly everything inside and forcing the family to rebuild from the ground up.

The strike sent a shock through the house, according to Laura and Kevin Auldridge.

"They said your house was struck by lightning and it's in flames," Kevin Auldridge said.
