Sabinal Independent School District's Board of Trustees will convene at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 13 to discuss their district improvement plan, nominate Uvalde County Appraisal District Board Members and vote on a budget amendment for the Jobs & Education for Texans Grant Program.

According to their posted district improvement plan, Sabinal aims to achieve a 100 percent graduation rate, meet or exceed state performance targets in standardized tests, close achievement gaps between demographics and give students and teachers access to advanced technological resources.

After discussing the plan, trustees may submit votes for one or multiple nominees for the UCAD board.
