TOM BEAN, Texas (KXII) - A mural now covers what was once a senior parking space at Tom Bean High School, serving as a permanent memorial for Makynna Tumlinson, a graduate who was killed in a car crash last month.

The floral mural is being painted by Joe "Art" Jones and coordinated by Kirby Lacy, Makynna's best friend.

It features a full bouquet of flowers representing Makynna's birth month and her passing month, along with gold-painted charms tied to her school activities.'She left more than just an imprint'Makynna's mother, Stephanie Tumlinson, said the mural reflects how her daughter treated everyone around her."She left more than just an imprint behind," Tumlinson said.
