President Donald Trump continued to insist Wednesday that his supporters have tremendous love for him, even as fellow Republicans blame his policies for the party's midterm election losses.

With votes still being counted, Democrats have won at least 7 Senate seats and 28 House seats in the 2026 midterm elections.

Wednesday at the White House, Trump wanted to talk primarily about his ballroom project."It's going to be here for many, many years and serving our country well," Trump said.
