On Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 6 p.m., Kerrville City Council held a public meeting at City Hall at 700 Main St. The agenda included questions and concerns about the changes to the city's animal ordinance, which would receive its second reading; using dedicated parkland funds to complete renovations to the city's Olympic Pool; and approving a new managing team for the Scott Schreiner Golf Course.

While four citizens spoke during the visitors forum at the beginning of the meeting, raising questions about city budget priorities, automated license plate readers and construction on the Arcadia Loop bridge, the majority of citizen input was in regard to the city's new animal ordinance.
