MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Montgomery ISD's school board could decide Monday night whether to launch a virtual learning pilot program, as the district looks for ways to retain students and increase funding.
Superintendent Dr. Mark Ruffin would not say whether he plans to recommend the board approve the program, but said they are considering it as education options in Texas continue to expand.
"We're really trying to measure up how virtual learning may look at Montgomery ISD," Ruffin said.
