The League of Women Voters of Hill Country Texas will host a candidate forum Oct. 6 for the two candidates seeking the Bandera County River Authority & Groundwater District Board's director-at-large position.

Rebeca Gibson and Kevin Meier have accepted invitations to participate in the forum, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Silver Sage Great Room, 803 Buck Creek Drive in Bandera.

The event is open to the public and free to attend.
