WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Joe Klanderman on Monday addressed the media for the first time as Baylor football's interim head coach, promising to bring renewed energy and accessibility following the dismissal of Dave Aranda.

Klanderman was hired this past offseason as the defensive coordinator after a seven-year stint at Kansas State.

In his short tenure at Baylor, Klanderman has molded the Baylor defense into one of the conference's top defensive units.
