ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - A man has been charged with murder after a prominant business owner was shot and killed early Sunday in west Odessa.

According to the Ector County Sheriff's Office, reports were recieved of shots fired in the area at around 1:45 a.m. Sunday, August 30. At around 1:49 a.m., more calls came in reporting gunshots and that a person had been shot.

Victim taken to hospitalDeputies arrived on scene and found 42-year-old Aaron Jordan had been shot.
