The New Braunfels Farmers Market invites the community to celebrate National Farmers Market Week on Saturday, Aug. 8, as part of the nationwide celebration recognizing the important role farmers markets play in supporting local agriculture, small businesses, and healthy communities.
Held every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Krause's Cafe parking lot at 186 S. Castell Avenue, the Market's National Farmers Market Week celebration will feature everything visitors love about the Market.
One of the day's highlights will be an educational booth hosted by the Comal Master Gardeners, where children and adults can learn how to plant a seed and discover the importance of growing their own food.
