ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - The Odessa Police Department is inviting community members to learn critical safety strategies at its next Neighborhood Watch meeting, which will feature specialized active shooter response training.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Sherwood Park Community Center, located at 4819 N. Everglade Ave. Presented by the OPD Training Division, Neighborhood Watch Program, and OPD Certified Instructors, the session will conduct a Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (C.R.A.S.E.) training.
OPD hosts these classes to help local businesses, churches, and residents better prepare for emergencies.
