LIBERTY COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- ABC13 is learning more about two parents facing murder charges connected to a deadly fire that killed their toddlers, including their previous history with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

Over the weekend, Matthew Chambers, 39, and Meaghan Herrod, 30, were each charged with two counts of murder in connection with their children's deaths from August 2026.
