Following its receipt of several complaints of a McQueeney woman trying to bilk county residents out of their hard-earned money, the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office is asking for help building a bigger case.
Beginning around March, residents began calling the sheriff alleging 55-year-old Lisa Miculka was participating in fraudulent activity, Sheriff's Lt. Zachary McBride said.
With a slew of arrests in her past for similar incidents, the sheriff's office recently put out the word asking for people to come forward and tell their stories involving possible fraud at Miculka's hands, he said.
