HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - One person was seriously injured Monday after a plane crashed during its landing phase in Henderson County, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The crash happened around 6:20 p.m. when a Cessna 172 Skyhawk airplane struck a hangar and crashed during landing, according to a preliminary notice from the FAA.

At the time of the wreck, Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said he had little information, but that his office was responding to a plane crash in the 11600 block of Pilot Lane at Aero Estates.
