The registration deadline for the 2026 Edible Book Contest at the Westside Library in New Braunfels is approaching this week.

Contestants have until Thursday, Oct. 8, at 5 p.m., to register at newbraunfels.gov/ediblebookcontest or in-person at the library.

The Edible Book Contest is an opportunity to "combine your love of books with a little creativity and a lot of cake in this fun and delicious event," a New Braunfels Public Libraries social media posts stated.
