MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Texas banned delta-8 and other synthetic THC products today, following a Texas Supreme Court ruling that classifies them as Schedule I controlled substances - the same classification as heroin and methamphetamine.

Products labeled with delta-8 can now be confiscated by law enforcement.

Delta-9 products under 0. 3 percent remain legal.
