PALESTINE, Texas (KLTV) - A bowling tournament being held in Palestine this Sunday will raise money to help veterans receive treatment for traumatic brain injuries and PTSD.

Tim Seckel's Alive Day Tournament is set for Aug. 16, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Palestine Bowling Center.

The event is organized by Tim "Pop" Seckel, a Purple Heart recipient who survived an IED blast in Iraq on Aug. 16, 2007 and James Artz, owner of the Palestine Bowling Center and a 30-year Army veteran.
