TYLER, Texas (KLTV) -An East Texas family is celebrating a medical miracle after their two-year-old daughter, who was born profoundly deaf, underwent a revolutionary surgery that has restored her hearing little by little.

When two-year-old Georgia Bruchmiller was born, her parents, Sara and Clint, had no reason to expect anything was wrong."Neither of us have hearing loss in our families, we were really shocked to learn that," Sara Bruchmiller said.

With no history of deafness to guide them, the couple immediately began searching for answers.
