Howard County Volunteer Fire Department Chief Bracy Bacon, who was recently appointed to the position, said the fire was reported at an oilfield facility approximately one to one-and-a-half miles north of Interstate 20.

Crews responded to the scene and worked with the oilfield company, which isolated the facility.
