The U.S. Small Business Administration approved Governor Greg Abbott's request to include South-Central Texas communities in the federal disaster declaration for severe weather following storms that impacted the region in August.

Hill Country Counties included in the federal declaration are Bandera, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, and Medina.
