Both the Boerne Champion varsity water polo teams kicked off district play last weekend with a pair of matches.

The Chargers hosted Boerne High at the new BISD Aquatics Center and then played Brandeis on Saturday at Northside Natatorium.

It was a sweep for the Champion boys after they defeated the Greyhounds and the Broncos.
